Canna Butter lollipops

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp canna butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp flavoring extract (e.g. grape, cherry, lemon)
  • 1/2 tsp citric acid
  • lollipop molds and sticks
  • 1/2 tsp liquid food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place a pan over medium heat and Combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Simmer on medium heat until sugar starts to dissolve.
  2. When it is completely dissolved, add the citric acid and mix.
  3. The mixture is brought to a boil without being stirred until it reaches 300°F using a candy thermometer attached to the pan (hard crack stage).
  4. Turn off the heat and place aside for a few minutes.
  5. Add the cannabutter, flavoring essence, and liquid food coloring.
  6. Fill the lollipop molds with the mixture and insert the lollipop sticks. Let the mixture cool and harden.
  7. When it cools and hardens remove from the molds, wrapping in plastic wrap or storing them in an airtight container is the proper way.
